How Fasty handles your data, purchases, feedback and website visits.

Fasty is an independent fasting tracker developed by Kai Oelfke. Fasty has no accounts. Fasty does not operate a server that stores your fasting, weight, or Apple Health data. Fasty does not show ads, sell personal data, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Your fasting and weight data
Your fasting and weight entries are stored on your device. When iCloud is available, the Fasty app can sync them between your devices through your private iCloud storage. This private iCloud data is not accessible to Fasty's developer.
Optional Apple Health access is handled on your device. You can change Health permissions at any time in Apple's Health or Settings apps.
Purchases
Fasty uses RevenueCat to provide and restore in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app identifier, App Store purchase and entitlement information, and interactions with RevenueCat's paywall and customer center. Fasty does not create an account for you or send RevenueCat a custom account identifier. Apple processes App Store purchases; Fasty does not receive your payment details.
Feedback, support, and diagnostics
When you send feedback in the app, use the website contact form, or contact support by email, the message and any reply address you provide are received as feedback or a support communication. Product feedback is used to improve Fasty. Support communications are used to respond to your request. In-app submissions also include basic technical information such as the app version, operating-system version, and device model. You may separately choose to include an email address for a reply, recent diagnostics, or an anonymous purchase-support identifier. The app shows what will be submitted before you send it.
The website contact form sends your email address and message through a Netlify Function to Google Forms. It also includes the website language, a random submission identifier and an indication that the message came from the Fasty website.
Fasty also sends a small sample of technical reports when the app reaches an unexpected state. These reports contain technical context, app and system versions, the device model, and a random identifier for that app installation. They do not include your health data. They are used only to diagnose problems and improve reliability, not for advertising or cross-app tracking.
In-app feedback, website contact-form submissions, and automatic diagnostic reports are delivered using Google Forms and Google Sheets. Earlier website contact-form submissions were delivered using Carrd. Feedback and support submissions are kept while useful for improving Fasty or providing support. Technical reports are kept while useful for diagnosing reliability problems. This does not apply to fasting, weight, or Apple Health data stored on your device or in your private iCloud database.
Data deletion
You can delete fasting and weight entries in Fasty. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device. You can separately delete data synced through iCloud in Apple's iCloud settings.
You can request deletion of feedback or support information that can be identified as yours by emailing kai@amicu.app. Technical reports cannot be located from your email address because Fasty does not connect them to an account or contact information. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase records when needed to provide purchases, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations.
Service providers and website
Fasty uses Apple services for iCloud, Health, and App Store purchases; RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management; Google Forms and Google Sheets for in-app feedback, website support, and diagnostic submissions; and Netlify for website hosting and contact-form forwarding. These providers process data only for the services they provide and under their own privacy terms.
The Fasty website is hosted using Netlify. Netlify may process standard network and request information, such as your IP address, needed to deliver and protect the website. Fonts are supplied by your device. The website does not use advertising tracking.
