How do I bring my fasting history from Zero?

Use the supported Zero JSON importer and review the records before adding them.

Fasty 0.0.105 can import completed fasts from Zero's supported JSON format. This does not mean every Zero file or older CSV format will work.

Import the file

  1. Obtain the supported JSON export from Zero and make it available in Files.
  2. In Fasty, open Statistics → Data (tray icon, top-left corner) → Import.
  3. Select Fasts from Zero, tap Import and select the JSON file.
  4. Review the preview's dates, durations, goals and new-entry count.
  5. Tap Save to add the records, then inspect them in Statistics → Data (tray icon, top-left corner) → Fasting.

Only completed fasts from the supported format are read. Selecting the file loads a preview; Save adds the records. Cancel leaves that preview uncommitted.

If the file does not work

Check the file type and selected source. Renaming a CSV to JSON does not convert it. Existing matching fasts are filtered, so a smaller new-entry count can be normal. A differently recorded overlapping fast is a separate issue; see overlaps.

Please contact me with the source app, file type, selected dataset and error message if the file cannot be read. The export process inside Zero is outside this guide.
