How do I connect Fasty to Apple Health?
Set up weight synchronization or the workout and resting-energy inputs used for adjusted zones.
Fasty uses Apple Health for two separate purposes: optional weight read/write synchronization, and reading workout/resting-energy inputs for adjusted fasting zones. Enabling one does not automatically set up the other.
Weight synchronization
Open Statistics → Settings → Statistics → Weight logging and enable Apple Health Sync. This requires Pro or qualifying earlier access. Follow the permission request: allow reading weight to show Health measurements in Fasty and writing weight to send Fasty logs to Health. They are separate permissions.
If weight is missing, check that the measurement exists in Health and that Fasty has read access. If a Fasty log is absent from Health, check write access. The Open Settings link in that weight section opens Health settings.
Workout-adjusted fasting zones
Open Statistics → Settings → Adjusted fasting zones and enable the feature. It needs recorded workouts with energy burned and resting-energy data, plus permission to read them. Check Recent Workouts and Recent resting energy. After changing Health permissions, restart Fasty and check those lists again.
See workout setup and missing-input checks for the complete requirements and what changes in the display.
Review permissions
Use Health's app-access settings to review Fasty's individual data permissions. Apple explains how to review Health access. If access is enabled but data is still missing, reopen Fasty and compare the relevant recent-data list with the records in Health.
What Health does not contain
Apple Health has no data category for fasts, so Fasty cannot save your fasting history there. Weight synchronization covers weight measurements. To transfer your fasting records, use Fasty export and import.
