How do I add and use Fasty widgets?

Add Home Screen or Lock Screen widgets and check missing or outdated status.

Widgets stay on your Home Screen or Lock Screen.

Timer and single-zone status widgets do not require Fasty Pro. Interactive start/finish buttons, the full five-zone overview and the latest completed-fast summary in large and portrait widgets require Fasty Pro. Without that access, detailed overview and summary values are hidden.

You can always use the ordinary controls inside the iPhone app. An interactive finish button can save a fast immediately. In Fasty's widget settings, choose whether it saves directly, opens the app or opens the finish screen for confirmation.

If tapping a button repeatedly opens the Pro screen, see paywall help.

Add a Home Screen widget

  1. Open Fasty once, then return to your Home Screen.
  2. Touch and hold an empty area until the apps jiggle.
  3. Tap Edit → Add Widget and choose Fasty.
  4. Swipe through the available widget choices and sizes. Choose a display widget if you only want to see status, or an interactive widget for buttons.
  5. Tap Add Widget, then Done.

For Lock Screen placement, follow Apple's widget guide. The available shapes depend on the system and the space in your Lock Screen layout.

If widget or zone information looks old

Open Fasty and compare the actual timer state with the widget. iOS controls background refresh, so zone labels and other details may lag even while a timer number advances. If opening the app does not help, restart the iPhone, open Fasty again, and recheck. This is a troubleshooting step, not a promise of continuous refresh.

If Fasty is absent from the widget gallery, open the app and try again after a device restart. If the problem persists, please contact me with a screenshot and your iOS and Fasty versions.

For the temporary Lock Screen/Dynamic Island display, see Live Activities.
