How do I move Fasty to a new iPhone?

Transfer completed fasting and weight records with Fasty CSV export and import.

Fasty CSV files provide an explicit transfer of completed records. They do not carry your active timer, every setting, theme or purchase access.

Transfer the records

  1. On the old iPhone, export your fasts. Export weights separately if you want those too.
  2. Make the files available in Files on the new iPhone, for example through iCloud Drive or AirDrop.
  3. Open Fasty on the new phone and import the matching datasets.
  4. Check the preview before Save, then compare recent records and dates in Data (tray icon, top-left corner of Statistics).

If some records already exist, fasting import filters matching normalized records. The new-entry count can therefore be smaller than the file's row count. Check differently recorded overlaps separately.

Purchases and preferences

Use purchase restoration for missing paid access. CSV import does not restore it. Set your desired display/theme and reminder preferences on the new installation separately.

What about automatic synchronization?

Fasty can synchronize completed fasts and weights through private iCloud storage, but that depends on account and system state. It is not a promise that the active timer or all settings move between arbitrary phones. If history is missing, please contact me with the two installations' versions and what you expected to transfer. The export/import route above lets you inspect exactly which records you are adding.
