How do weight goals and trends work?
Set a goal, read progress, and understand why a trend or estimated date may be absent.
Set your weight goal
Open Statistics and scroll to Weight Goal. Enter your goal in the unit shown beside the field. The card shows your latest recorded weight/date, difference from the goal, trend, progress and estimated time when available.
If the card is missing, check Statistics visibility. To change the unit or correct measurements, see weight logging.
Read the trend and chart
Fasty calculates a trend from recorded measurements and shows the date range used below the goal card when available. The weight chart shows history; a single recent measurement is not a trend.
The trend needs at least seven measurements within the last 90 days, spanning at least a week. Fasty can also leave it blank when the measurements do not form a sufficiently consistent trend. Check these requirements if you see No data.
The fasting/weight comparison chart helps you view the histories together. It does not establish that fasting caused a weight change.
If an estimated goal date is missing
Check that measurements exist and their dates/values are correct. Fasty needs a calculable trend that supports a projection toward the goal. It cannot always show a useful date. The estimate changes with the recorded data and is not a promised result or a recommended target.
