Why do my iPhone and Apple Watch show different information?

Distinguish active timer state, recent history and system refresh before troubleshooting.

Identify what differs

Check whether you are comparing the active timer, a completed record, or a complication/widget. They update through different routes. The Watch's recent history is a limited view, not a copy of every fast visible in iPhone Data.

The devices exchange active-fast state, selected settings and recent records, but a connection and system delivery are required. A complication can also wait for its next refresh even when the Watch app has newer information.

Check both apps

  1. Confirm that your Watch is paired with the intended iPhone and connected.
  2. Open Fasty on both devices and compare the Started time and goal.
  3. If the active timer agrees but a complication does not, reopen the Watch app and allow the complication to refresh.
  4. If a completed record differs, compare the most recent saved entries in the apps rather than the active timer. Check which device saved the fast.

Restarting the devices and reopening both apps can help with a stalled connection; it does not guarantee immediate delivery.

If the difference persists

Please contact me with your Fasty/iOS/watchOS versions, what differs, where you started/finished the fast, and whether opening both apps changed anything. Screenshots of the compared states help distinguish a stale surface from a missing record.
