How do I edit or delete a saved fast?
Correct a completed fast's dates or remove an incorrect record.
Correct a saved record
- Open Statistics → Data (tray icon, top-left corner) → Fasting.
- Scroll to the record and tap its fasting entry.
- Use Edit beside the start or end time. Save the time editor, then tap Save on the fast screen.
- Return to the timeline and check the changed dates and duration.
The eating entries between fasts are the gaps between those records. To correct a gap, correct the surrounding fasts' times.
Delete an incorrect fast
Open the record from Data and tap Delete. The record is removed immediately in this route, so check its dates first. You can manually re-enter known times through +, or use a compatible export you saved earlier.
Before removing many records, export your data. Apple Health has no data category for fasts, so Fasty cannot save your fasting history there.
To remove your whole history, see deleting data and starting fresh.
If you forgot to stop tracking
For a saved record, change Ended fasting to the time you actually stopped. If the timer is still running, open End Fast and correct the end before saving it. See starting and finishing.
Overlaps and missing entries
A conflicting record can prevent saving an edit. Inspect overlaps and correct the relevant dates. If the fast is absent entirely, use the separate missing-fast guide.
